anaisninjaLittle blue cruising over my car on the four goddamn hour drive to Orlando to visit W and the fam. Nice to see even with my ass falling asleep in the car seat. I think this is the longest it's ever taken me to get there. The worst of the traffic was on 75 even. At least three separate accidents before I hit I4. Fuck me running.
Got to meet W's granddaughter, and she's very obviously cut from the same cloth. She's hilarious, and has a sense of comedic timing that you usually don't find in kids her age. Got to hang out with her and her older bro on Saturday. Driving in W's monster truck through the countryside and WMA, riding in the bed and screaming our heads off. Looking for kestrels and even trapping one, which turned out to be a hag, but still fun to trap. W said kestrel season might be different than regular trapping season. I still need to shit or get off the pot as far as flying a bird this season. I really, really want a redtail. Flying a kestrel would probably be more realistic though.
Had the worst crawfish etouffee at a Cajun restaurant before I started the drive home. Felt bad having them spend and time and money on that. At least the bread and tea/lemonade were good.
Ghod, accidentally stepped on a giant fucking landmine at work today. Dictatorial email sent by the megabeast about a legit concern in a really snotty way. Replies were requested to confirm that it was understood. I addressed a few concerns about addressing the legit concern, and rattled off half a dozen ways to make the whole thing go smoother, which a coworker said they liked. Only for B to go completely off the deep end about 'this isn't up for debate' blah blah, and I'm like, I'm literally not arguing about that at all, I'm trying to make this shit go easier, which A then went off the deep end about. Ugh. I reckon I'll be in for some kind of shit tomorrow and/or Tuesday. They do love their petty torments. Fucking ARGH. All of this is so incredibly stupid and pointless. They are creating massive drama and problems where there don't need to be any. I don't fucking get it. It's so goddamn childish, and these people are grown ass adults. Fucking dumb.
